I downloaded the game but it's not letting do anything. I'm only able to navigate through the main menu with WASD but I can't select anything or start anything. Am I doing something wrong or the game bugged right now?
I think default selection button is the y key, it SHOULD show the default controls on the title screen the first time booting the game. If it's not there let me know!
The only problem I found is that if special move creates an entity (object et c.) It may cause a memory leak (or someting like that). This accumulates over time, so after some time, fps drops everytime something happens. Maybe this even happens with hit sparks too.
I'll admit that garbage collection might not be the best, but it DOES reset between games. Luckily, it's only a problem for extended time in training mode!
I don't intend on adding any more crewmates at this time.
I love this game and I love how easy it is to get into and how I am able to use it as a launch point for my friends to get into fighting games it is the best free fighting game out there hands down and it is easily the most accessible fighting game I have found.
one of if not the best free fighting game currently out there. a fighting game made for fighting game fans who get all the references while also being extremely beginner accessible
a must try for any fighting game fan and a classic in my heart, i really do hope they go back and rework some of the older colors tho cause theres acouple of colors here that just sorta, exist? like cyan is my favorite color but in game is just kinda mid? also, theres no scorpion to match sky (subzero) sad
There's an option to enable the traditional input in the controls settings, it's set to only use macros by default because I find most beginner players prefer it that way, but you should be able to turn off those settings if you want!
anyone know how to get it to work on steamdeck? ive tried lutris and bottles but i think im too much of a linux noob to understand whats going wrong. It says its gonna open it the nothing happens.
you don't need anything fancy... you just need to add it to the steam app as a non-steam game and make sure it's using one of steam's compatibility options under properties

Lot of fun, have been enjoying so far. Surprised at how well it all works with just jumping into a match.
My only critical comment is that parry being meterless feels absolutely cracked.Just costing a single pip of meter seems like it'd be extremely fair.

it kinda sucks, contols are weird and enemies make no sense how they deal 20x more damage doin nothing than me doin combos

WAIT I GOT IT. lutris and bottles both dont seem to work right, but a basic install of wine can run it.
